OPC Psychotherapist 08THV01 Gilead Community Services is seeking a skilled and recovery-oriented outpatient clinician to join our multi-disciplinary program staff.
About the position:
The Outpatient Clinician for Gilead's Middletown area psychiatric outpatient clinic works Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM with some flexibility to work evening hours providing individual, marital, family and group therapy using a bio-psychosocial model of care.
The clinician is responsible for the formulation and completion of detailed intake assessments, including diagnosis, mental status exams and treatment planning.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's Degree in a clinical field; License required within 18 months of hireExperience working with individuals with psychiatric issues and co-occurring substance use disordersFive years of clinical experienceMust maintain and provide proof of valid driver's license and automobile insurance in good standingReliable use of personal vehicle as needed

Responsibilities:
Providing individual and group psychotherapy services to adults with mental health and substance use disordersConducting biopsychosocial intake assessments, developing treatment plans and administering other required assessment tools Maintaining clinical records and required documentation in a timely and accurate mannerConsulting with the program staff, Medical Director, and prescribing professionals regarding coordination of care, risk management, and any medical and mental health needsEstablishing and maintaining collateral relationships important for the well-being of clients (families, landlords, police, legal system, employers, other agencies and treatment providers and any other community supports) Gilead employees are held to standards and regulations set by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and other regulatory bodies.
